Essence Merry Berry Trend Edition

This was one of the prettiest editions that I have seen by Essence. Once this released in stores I made sure I hurried to get them.

I can honestly say I was thrilled when I found all that I wanted from this collection. Trust me when I say I really held myself back from digging in.

 The full range is made up of three lipsticks, two eye shadows, four nail polishes and a glitter top coat, a shimmer powder, a hair perfume and a highlighting powder.

01 Let’s the Berry-Tales Begin, 02 Pink & Perfect and 03 Red Rocks, at R42 each.

They are such beautiful shades and look’s so amazing. I think they would suit most skin tones.

This is a beautiful warm toned highlighting powder. It has a smooth texture and is not too sparkly. I can see myself reaching for this one very often.

I just had to have this one as I found the bottle to be the cutest ever. This reminds me of ancient perfume bottles. This is a perfumed gold shimmering powder for the body.

Beautiful Edition and very affordable.

{Review } Bioderma Sebium Global

The blog has been quite silent for a little while and I do apologies.

I have not been in the mood to blog with life happening but I felt that this was one review that must be shared!!

As a teenage I suffered from acne, in my twenties I did have occasional breakouts. Now that I am in my thirties adult acne has now become my nightmare!!

It is stress related I assume and I have lost my self-confidence to even leave the house or hurry to cover up as soon as there are visitors at my gate. 

Until I tried Bioderma Sebium Global.

(Please note that this was the only product I was using to treat my acne) 

I had these huge cystic acne pimples popping up in the U section of my face. It looked totally horrid. Yeah I know I wanted to hide in my cupboard!

I started seeing a lot of improvements from week one of using this amazing product.

After a month I noticed that there was huge reduction and inflammation of the acne. And the red spots started fading away quickly And no new acne!

This has been the best product that I have used for Acne. It works really fast with amazing results. Very affordable. I would definitely love to try more of Bioderma Products and would highly recommend this product to anyone with Acne. Give it a shot and you just might be surprised!

September Haul

I really love shopping up a storm come month end, but it is not always possible as I have so much of goodies that are just lying brand new as in unopened and unused. So yeah hubby shoots me down lol “you have so much and still want more”. Well you can never have enough now can you ???

If you have read my previous posts, you would know that at the moment I have severe adult acne and would love for it to disappear already. This was also recommended by another blogger as she has the same problem as I have and this seems to be helping her. Certainly hope it does work for me as well.

Skin Republic – Spots + Blemish (anti spot &pore refining face mask sheet – R45

I got this to help cleanse my skin, clear the dark acne spots caused by the acne and prevent future breakouts. Here is to hope!!

I am a lover of lipsticks.  I really wanted to add these liquid lipsticks to my collection. Simply gorgeous shades. Cannot wait to use them.

Last and not least Mac : M.A.Cnificent collection – Diva Antics R210

When this collection released all I could think about is having this lipstick well amongst other items as well. But I settled for just the lipstick this time. I placed an order with Mac Online. When I received this lipstick, I knew I made the right decision of picking this gorgeous shade.

Review : Bourjois Smoky Stories Quad Eyeshadow Palette

Firstly I must admit that I am a huge fan of Bourjois cosmetics. I find all there products to be amazingly exceptional!!So without further ado, here is one of the palettes. 

I have the  05 Good Nude palette.

The formula of this eye shadow is well pigmented, easy to blend out and wears well even on oily lids (I do recommend a primer as I do with every powder product). This palette has a glitter segment in the center ( see pics) and is called the "Light Touch"and has been intended for use in the inner corner corner to brighten and open the eyes. It can of course be packed all over the eye for a full on glitter finish or dampened to create a glitter liner. Despite being a glitter it isn't all gritty and not prone to fall out (nothing worse than glitter all over your face) and looks beautiful when applied in the corner of the eyes.

All in all great little palette that makes the smokey eye much easier to do!!
